The first day of spring is Thanksgiving Day!

On March 1, Kazakhstanis celebrate Thanksgiving Day. The event dedicated to the holiday was organized by 1st-year students of the Department of Economics, group EK-23 K1 and K2, and group adviser G.K. Andabayeva on the topic “The first day of spring - Thanksgiving!”. This is the day when the Kazakh people welcomed with open arms representatives of different ethnic groups who moved to our country, shared their joys and sorrows, and became a refuge in difficult times. This holiday is seen as a strong expression of friendship, kindness, and love between all people, and nationalities in society, which ensures the achievement of the 15 SDGs: Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions for Sustainable Development.
