Interaction between higher education institutions and industries is the basis of quality education

Currently, the primary task is the quality of training of specialists and their demand.

In this regard, interaction between higher education and the production sector by combining their efforts in ensuring the quality of training of highly qualified specialists is an urgent task (Sustainable Development Goals No. 4 – Quality education).

On November 24, 2023, teachers of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Iskakova R. A. and Narenova S. M. conducted an excursion for students of grades 3 and 4, studying in the educational program “6B05301- Chemistry". The LUKOIL Lubricants Central Asia enterprise is one of the most modern factories for the production of lubricants in Kazakhstan. The students got acquainted with the robotic production workshop and finished product storage warehouse, as well as a modern quality control laboratory.

The representative of the company, Barbashov S.S., spoke about the possibilities of cooperation for students with this enterprise, which consists in the possibility of undergoing production and pre-graduation internships on its basis. Upon their successful completion and, based on the scientific and technical potential of the student, the company may consider the issue of further employment of the graduate.
