The Vth International Scientific and Methodological Conference: "Paradigm of Life-Long Learning in the Kazakhstani Education for Sustainable Development: Practice and Prospects"
On March 15, 2024, tgere was the V International Scientific and Methodological Conference “Paradigm of lifelong education in the system of Kazakhstani education for sustainable development: practice and prospects”. The conference was organized by the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology, and was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. More than 250 scientists from near and far abroad, researchers, young researchers, PhD students, and master's degree students took part in the conference. The main invited speakers of the conference were: Anatoly Leonidovich Berdichevsky, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of European Projects, Vienna, Austria; Christopher Korten, Ph.D., Professor, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland; Paula Orzechowska, Professor, Department of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, Poland; and Kurshat Cesur, Associate Professor, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Türkiye. This conference covered a wide range of issues and included the work of three sections - 1. Physical and technical sciences and technologies; 2. Natural sciences; 3. Social sciences and humanities; thereby providing an opportunity for scientists to exchange scientific opinions, and were a platform for discussing the research results of young scientists. The conference was organized in a mixed format - offline in room 408 of the Library of Al-Farabi KazNU and online on the ZOOM platform for both the plenary session participants and the work of the conference . The section sessions were presented by the reports on the most urgent current issues the research of which is of a great significance for the humanity.
