INTERACTIVE SIMULATION METHODS OF CONDUCTING CLASSES AND ONGOING MONITORING IN THE DISCIPLINE "INFORMATION SECURITY AND INFORMATION PROTECTION" IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs)

18 march, 2024

On March 18, 2024, an open lesson on the subject "Information security and information protection" was held in the study group of 3rd year students in the specialty "6B03208 – Digital Archival Science and Documentation". In the context of the SDGs, this activity is aimed at improving the quality of education (Goal No. 4) and eliminating information inequality (Goal No. 10).

The specifics of the interdisciplinary subject made it possible to teach the discipline in the form of joint student activity, in which all participants interact with each other, exchange relevant information, jointly solve problems and model real cases.

The interactive simulation method "Student in the role of a teacher" and an edutainment program were used to study and consolidate new material on network and cybersecurity. This approach allows students to increase their self-confidence, gain initial experience in class planning and material selection, and create their own exclusive educational media products based on advanced information platforms.

The assessment and review of the quality of students' paired work on the distributed topics of the lesson was carried out using the Miro visual platform and the Kahoot educational project application.
