In modern society, the problem of drug addiction is one of the most urgent for both health care and society as a whole. Propaganda of healthy lifestyle, refusal of any drugs is an important task. So, on 28 March 2024 at the Faculty of Pre-University Education of KazNU named after Al-Farabi the action "No to Drugs! We choose life!" within the framework of SDG-3a in the direction of "Good health and well-being". This event was dedicated to the fight against drug use and was organized by teachers of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners supervisors Aitpayeva A. S. Moldagaliyeva. S., Moldagalieva J.T., Matsko I.V. Foreign students of groups 1,10, 12 of the Department of Language and General Education Training of Foreigners took active part in this action. At the event the questions of reasons of drug use, harm to health, which they carry, were discussed. Foreign students from Korea, China, Japan, Turkey expressed their proposals for solving this problem and supported the university's project on sustainable development goals.
