“Tuberculosis and its prevention”

03/28/2024 curator S.B. Dauletbaeva and 2nd-year students of the speciality “Genetics” held a curatorial hour on the topic “Tuberculosis and its prevention”. The purpose of this event was to provide students with information about the features of the manifestation of this disease, routes of transmission and measures to combat this infection and, in general, the prevention of tuberculosis. As a result, students increased their level of awareness about the routes of transmission of tuberculosis, screening for tuberculosis, safe behaviour, and opportunities to prevent infection, as well as about research work in the study of Mycobacterium tuberculosis carried out in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the implementation of research projects in this area.
