IV National intellectual game "League of chemists"

27.03.2024 the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry held the IV national intellectual game "League of chemists" among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the al-Farabi Kazakh National Universitywww.kaznu.kz.

The purpose of the event is to expand friendly ties, as well as to identify and encourage the scientific potential of students (SDG 4 "Quality education").

The game consisted of 4 rounds: an introduction, a blitz tour, a practical task, and a "black box". 7 teams from the following higher educational institutions took part: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Suleiman Demirel University (SDU), K. I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University, S. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Kazakh-British Technical University.

The first place was taken by the team "Monoxide quartet" KazNTU named after K. I. Satpayev, the second place - "The teachers" SDU, the third place - "Catalyst quartet" KazNU named after al-Farabi. The winners were awarded cash prizes in the amount of 70,000, 50,000 and 30,000, respectively. All participants were awarded certificates.
