Results of the section “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” of the international conference of students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi”

In total, 28 abstracts were received in the section “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” of the international conference of students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi”, of which: 1 abstract from the “Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry named after. M.A. Aitkhozhin”, 1 thesis from Narxoz University, 26 theses from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

At the meeting, 11 reports were heard. All speakers were from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The commission decided to award:

Diploma for first place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” for submission to the rector’s diploma – Kunanbaeva A.A., 3rd year undergraduate student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, topic of the report: “Adamnyn MUTYH DNҚ glycosylase kodtaityn cDNA gene expression son of prokaryotes zhuyesinde ontaylandyru.” Also, the department decided to award a scholarship in the amount of 50,000 (fifty thousand) tenge.

Diploma for second place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” – Kozhakhmet A.T., 1st year master’s student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, topic of report: “Kazakhtyn etti-zhundi koylaryndagy BMP15 genin kop toldilikke candidate gene retinde zertteu.”

Diploma for second place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” - Kazanbasov T.S., 3rd year undergraduate student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, topic of the report: “Cloning and expression of PIORF4 cDNA gene in Escherichia coli cells and synthesis of recombinant proteins encoded by it".

For second place, it was decided to award a total scholarship in the amount of 50,000 (fifty thousand) tenge and divide equally among the winners.

Diploma for third place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” - Nsanova A.T., 4th-year undergraduate student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Topic of the report: “Cytogenetic study of the mutagenic activity of microplastics on barley as a plant test object.”

Diploma for third place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” - Bektasov Z.B., 3rd-year undergraduate student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the topic of the report: “KR aumagynda taralgan bal aralaryn STR lokustar boyynsha genotypteu”.

Diploma for third place in the section: “Current problems of genetics, molecular biology and ecology” - Erkinova H.E., 1st-year master’s student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the topic of the report: “Asimdik S6K1 white karsy polyclonaldy antidenelerdi tazartu.”

For third place, it was decided to award a total scholarship in the amount of 30,000 (thirty thousand) tenge and divide equally among the winners.

All conference participants received certificates of participation.
