Minutes of the meeting of the working committee of section No. 5 "Start in Science (for school children)" of the international scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi" dated April 5, 2024, consisting of:

In total, 20 abstracts were received in 5 sections, including 1 thesis from KSU Gymnasium No. 34, Almaty; 1 thesis from “Turan mektebi”, Shymkent; 1 thesis from Gymnasium No. 86 named after G. Musrepov; 1 thesis from Secondary School No. 47 Koyankus, Ili district, Almaty region; 1 thesis from Gymnasium 25 named after I. Yesenberlin; 1 thesis from the Profile School of al-Farabi Kazakh National University; 2 theses from Nazarbayev Intellectual School; 3 theses from Secondary School No. 11 of Ili district, Almaty region; 4 theses from Gymnasium No. 120 named after Mazhit Begalin; 4 theses from NU Prestige School.

At the meeting of the 5th section "Start in Science (for schoolchildren)" of the international scientific conference of students and young scientists "Farabi Alemi", 18 oral reports were heard. Of these:

- 1 report from KSU Gymnasium No.34, Almaty;

- 1 report from School No. 47 p. Koyankus, Ili district, Almaty region;

- 1 report from Gymnasium 25 named after I. Yesenberlin;

- 1 report from the Profile School of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University;

- 2 reports from Nazarbayev Intellectual School;

- 3 reports from School No. 11 of the Ili district, Almaty region;

- 4 reports from the Gymnasium No. 120 named after Mazhit Begalin;

- 4 reports from NU Prestige School.

The Commission decided to award:

The diploma for the first place in the section "Start in science (for school children)" for presentation to the rector's diploma was awarded to students of NU Prestige School – Maxim Petrochenko, Reinhold Arthur, topic of the report: The impact of a new phytopreparation based on medicinal plants of Kazakhstan on the gut microbiota of rats.

The diploma for the second place in the section: "Start in science (for schoolchildren)" for presentation to the rector's diploma was awarded to students of NU Prestige School - Gordeeva Medina, Arpabaev Yesenali, the topic of the report: Obtaining gluten-free bakery products with increased nutritional value and prebiotic properties.

The diploma for the third place in the section: "Start in science (for schoolchildren)" for presentation to the rector's diploma was awarded to a student of the Profile School of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University – Yana Novombergskaya, the topic of the report: Hydroponics and soil: evaluation of the effectiveness of methods.

The diploma for the third place in the section: "Start in science (for schoolchildren)" for presentation to the rector's diploma was awarded to a student of NU Prestige School - Kadirkhanova Aida, the topic of the report: Isolation and study of growth-stimulating rhizobacteria from the wheat rhizosphere.
