On April 9, 2024, within the framework of the “Sustainable Development Goals”, the 1st-year master’s degree students of Foreign Philology major from the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies, Zhaksylyk A.Zh., Abdimanap S.N., Alimzhanov B.M and group advisor Dairabekova G.S. conducted a demo lesson with the 1st-year students of “6B02303-Foreign Philology” major on the topic: “Life on land.” The aim of the open educational hour was to introduce the students to the measures taken to combat environmental problems in Kazakhstan.The demo lesson was held in an interactive form, and 17 students took part in it. During the lesson the students openly expressed their thoughts and actively participated. The participants were given also a practical task. They were divided into two teams and did the task on a related topic. The students learned about planned activities to combat ecological problems in the country. The lesson achieved its goal.
