Outreach and educational event on Sustainable development goals

On November 21, 2023, an open informational and educational event was conducted by PhD student of the department of Analytical, colloid chemistry and technology of rare elements Margarita Ryabicheva on “Sustainable development goals.” The educational event was held within the framework of teaching practice, in English. Participants are 2nd year master's students majoring in Chemistry.

During the event, participants were offered an interactive quiz game, thanks to which they were able not only to become familiar with the sustainable development goals, but also to demonstrate their erudition by answering questions. Despite the high level of complexity of the questions, the undergraduates successfully completed the assignments. After the game, participants were shown an educational video on the topic of the event.

These types of activities are mandatory for trainees as part of teaching practice and are carried out regularly to achieve SDG 17 “Partnerships for Sustainable Development Goals” (17.4.3 Education for SDGs in the wider community).
