Рractical lesson on the topic “The Eurasian vector in the foreign policy of the Republic of Korea

On April 11, 2024, Yasyn Nursaule, 1st year master’s student, specialty “7M02217-Oriental Studies” (Korean language), conducted an open practical lesson on the implementation of “sustainable development goals (SDGs) - global partnership, resource mobilization, technology, capacity building, trade)” on the topic “The Eurasian vector in the foreign policy of the Republic of Korea” for 3rd year students of the specialty “6B02207-Oriental Studies” during the period of teaching practice.

The open practice was attended by a teacher of the Department of Korean Studies, Zhakhanova Zh.A. and our guest from Bulgaria, PhD Doctor of the Department of Japanese Studies at Sofia University named after “St. Clement of Ohrid” Lyudmila Kirilova.

The purpose of the open lesson is to introduce students to the activities that are carried out within the framework of strengthening the framework of cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the countries of Eurasia in the direction of global partnership, optimal use of resources between countries, mutual exchange, new technological achievements, expanding trade, increasing the potential position of residents, analyzing them future and implementation based on the exchange of proposals.

During the lesson, students analyze the cooperation of the Republic of Korea with countries located on the territory of the Eurasian continent, in particular: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, China, India, etc. Discussing the following problems (political unrest, gender inequality ., peace, security, conflict) and assessed the activities of associations and organizations created between countries in solving such complex problems. Master's student Yasyn Nursaule involved students in discussions on these topics during the lesson and organized games using the Kahut gaming learning platform.

The purpose of visiting the PhD class of the doctor of the Department of Japanese Studies at Sofia University. “St. Clement of Ohrid” by Lyudmila Kirilova at the Department of Far East is “a study for understanding the university education system.” From this point of view, while participating in the lesson, she talked with students on the mentioned topic and shared her own opinion.
