On April 12, 2024, the third-year students of t"Foreign language: two foreign languages" major from the Department of Turkology and Language Theory held a cultural and educational event on the topic: "Francophonie-2024". The aim of this event was to introduce students to the language and literature of the French country, culture and history of France. Francophonie is a celebration of the French language, which has been held annually in spring since 1970. The event was held by the students of the Faculty of Philology. The teachers of the Department, the students, as well as master’s degree students and PhD students took part in the event but as guests.
