As part of the sustainable development initiative, April 16, 2024, senior lecturer of the department of customs, financial and environmental law, PhD Bitabarova Zh.A. conducted a scientific webinar with undergraduates from BSU and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University via the ZOOM platform on the topic “Inexpensive and clean energy.” This event is dedicated to UN Sustainable Development Goal 7. During the webinar, participants discussed issues of provision and availability of energy resources in Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, problems of ensuring energy security. The possibilities of alternative energy sources in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were also discussed. The experience of developed countries (Germany, France, USA) in the field of alternative energy sources were discussed. Based on the results of the webinar recommendations were proposed to improve legislation in this area.
