SDG 9: Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and innovation.

9.1 Develop quality, reliable, stable and sustainable infrastructure, including regional and cross-border infrastructure, to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on ensuring affordable and equitable access for all.

9.2 Promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and, by 2030, significantly increase industrial employment and the share of industrial output in gross domestic product, in accordance with national conditions, and double corresponding levels in least developed countries.

9.3 Expand access to financial services, including low-cost credit, for small industrial and other enterprises, especially in developing countries, and enhance their integration into value chains and markets.

9.4 By 2030, modernize infrastructure and processing industries to make them sustainable, with the participation of all countries, according to their individual capabilities, by improving resource efficiency and increasing the use of clean and environmentally friendly technologies and industrial processes.

9.5 Strengthen the research and technology capacity of industrial sectors in all countries, especially developing countries, including by 2030 by stimulating innovation and the number of research and development (R&D) employees per million people, as well as public and private spending on R&D.
