The historical link of friendship-Askanbek Aldanazarov

On May 3, 2024, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the State Archive of Almaty will hold a Republican conference "the historical link of friendship-Askanbek Aldanazarov", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the military historian scientist, veteran of the Great Patriotic War, retired colonel Askanbek Saparovich Aldanazarov (10.05.1924 – 18.07.2010).
Askanbek Saparovich was born in Tulkubas District of South Kazakhstan region in 1924. In 1942, at the beginning of the Second World War, Askanbek Saparovich had 6 years of Education. After the war, he studies at the Leningrad University at the Faculty of history, then graduated from the higher officer's school with a military degree, did military service in the missile Department and took the post of Commander of the missile brigade. 
In 1968, due to health problems, he joined the Reserve and, in addition to teaching at the Institute of medicine, worked as dean of the correspondence Department of the Faculty of history of the Kazakh State University. 
           Askanbek Aldanazarov devoted a significant part of his activity to the study of the graves of Japanese prisoners. 58,900 graves of Japanese prisoners were found in 11 regions of Kazakhstan. The first Kazakh citizen in Central Asia to be awarded the "order of the land of the Golden rising sun".       
He also identified the burial places of Polish troops on the territory of the country and identified the graves of 133 soldiers of Kazakhstan buried in Poland. This is also a significant contribution of Askanbek Saparovich to his country as a military historian.¬
          Within the framework of the Republican conference, discussions and discussions are expected on the topic of research and issues related to the research interests of the military historian-scientist, veteran of the Great Patriotic War Askanbek Saparovich Aldanazarov and have not lost their relevance today.
The conference promotes the expansion of the horizons of cooperation between scientists, the creation of new research projects, joint scientific publications and the development of research on the history of the Second World War, the history of the Polish and Japanese troops.
Scientists, experts, specialists and young researchers are invited to participate in the conference.
The conference is planned to discuss issues in the following areas:

The working languages of the conference are Kazakh and Russian.
