In addition, 50 students whose houses were destroyed by the floods received grants of 100,000 tenge each.

The total amount of aid collected is 10 million tenge.

On April 9, on the initiative of the Chairman of the Board of the Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebaev, a special charity center was opened on the basis of the higher educational institution.

Teachers, staff and students of the university actively participated in the action. No one remained indifferent to the misfortune of their compatriots.

The list of humanitarian aid sent to the city of Uralsk includes new clothes, food, personal hygiene products, karemats, non-perishable food, blankets, bedding, rubber boots, gloves, and much more.

In particular, the educational institution sent 250 mattresses, 500 blankets, 300 pillows, 700 towels, 400 bar soap, 500 liters of liquid soap and others. In addition, 1300 kilograms of pasta, 200 kilograms of buckwheat, 500 kilograms of rice, 200 kilograms of sugar, and other long-life food items.

The money will be personally transferred to each student whose home was destroyed and cannot be rebuilt.
