Candidate of Philological Sciences, the senior lecturer, Karbozov Erhan and the first-year master’s degree students majoring in in Literary Studies at the Faculty of Philology, D.Kelgen, M.Zhubatkan and G.Birimzharova held a demo lesson on the topic: «Gender Equality» for the third- year students majoring in Kazakh language and Literature. The lesson included a discussion with the students by focusing on the role of gender equality in society. The data about preventing gender discrimination were provided with an emphase on the significance of protecting human rights and the survey was conducted. Interactive tasks about the prominent women from different areas of activity from Kazakhstan were demonstrated. The students also gave the examples of combating inequality all over the world. To sum up, all the students shared their perspectives on this issue and made their proposals.
