Archival Affairs and Documentation Management in the Digital Technology Era: Current Directions and Solutions

Within the SDG No. 4 "Quality Education" and No. 17 "Partnership for Sustainable Development", on April 26, 2024, the History Faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the participation of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, hosted the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Archival Studies and Document Management.

This year, the Republican Subject Olympiad was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 30th anniversary of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Olympiad was attended by the First Vice-Rector of the Russian State Humanitarian University and the Vice-Rector for Research, Olga Vyacheslavovna Pavlenko. Also, the Deputy Director of the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Roza Samidollinovna Karibzhanova, wished the participants success.

The goal of the Olympiad was to select talented students, uncover and support creative abilities, contribute to the formation of intellectual potential, as well as to develop an interest in scientific activities and involvement in solving scientific problems in the field of Archival Studies and Document Management.

The thematic direction of the Olympiad was: "Archival Affairs and Documentation Management in the Digital Technology Era: Current Directions and Solutions".

The teams participating in the subject Olympiad were:

4. Team "Documentum"

Results of the subject Olympiad: 1st place: Team "Future Destiny" 2nd place: Team "Gold Archive" 3rd place: Team "DiForce"

The subject Olympiad was held at a high level and was enjoyed by all participants.
