An international educational seminar on "Achieving Sustainable Development Goals - Solutions for sustainable agriculture in Kazakhstan: digitalization, carbon neutrality"
An international educational seminar on "Achieving Sustainable Development Goals - Solutions for sustainable agriculture in Kazakhstan: digitalization, carbon neutrality" was held at the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The main speaker was Aliya Svanova, Director of Strategy and Marketing, Aitas Agro agricultural holding. Aliya shared the experience of Aitas Agro agricultural holding and information on new technologies in agriculture to achieve the following SDGs:
Goal 2: Eliminate hunger, ensure food security and improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agricultural development.
Goal 8: Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Goal 11: Ensure the openness, security, resilience and environmental sustainability of cities and human settlements
Goal 12: Ensure the transition to sustainable consumption and production patterns
Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its consequences.
Goal 15: Protect and restore terrestrial ecosystems and promote their rational use, sustainable forest management, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and halt the loss of biodiversity.
