20 tons of humanitarian aid from KazNU arrived in Uralsk

20 tons of humanitarian aid sent by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University arrived in Uralsk.

Member of the Board - acting vice-rector for social development of KazNU Sabit Suatai transferred the collected help to the reception point.

With the help of volunteers new clothes, food, personal hygiene products, karemats, non-perishable food, drinking water, bedding, rubber boots and gloves were distributed among the residents in the evacuation point.

In addition, the university-leader collected 5 million tenge, which were designated as an allowance of 100 thousand tenge each to 50 students affected by the flood.

Recall, on April 9, on the initiative of the Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Zhanseit Tuimebayev on the basis of higher education institution was opened a special charity center.

Thanks to the staff, teachers and students of the university, 20 tons of humanitarian aid and 5 million tenge were collected.
