Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions

As part of the implementation of SDG 16 «Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions» of the United Nations, on April 19, 2024, 1st year students of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, с.j.s. Smanova Akmaral Bakhtiyarovna visited the stage of consideration of a criminal case Specialized inter-district Court for Criminal Cases of the city of Almaty.

Future lawyers took part in the trial at the announcement of the verdict by the judge. Participation in this process is not only a demonstration in practice of the execution of criminal proceedings by judges, but also for students to choose to be a judge in the future, who makes a fair decision for society to counteract the offense.

To announce the verdict, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of the Bostandyk district of Almaty, Kerimkulov Nursultan Akhatuly (a graduate of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University), invited future lawyers to participate in the criminal process.

Many thanks for the help in attracting students for practical participation in office work. This is a great contribution to the formation of the legal consciousness of the younger generation of future lawyers, who will continue to form the rule of law in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the future.
