Within the framework of the SDG 4 project, 1st year students of the Computer Engineering and Computer Science majors held a curatorial hour, and also prepared a video clip dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz.

Nauryz Meiramy is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of the Kazakh people through the celebration of the main spring holiday Nauryz.
During the curatorial hour, the students got acquainted with the history of this holiday, its traditions and customs, which are preserved in our time. During the curatorial hour, discussions were held on how Nauryz reflects the cultural, religious and social aspects of the life of the Kazakh people. During the event, students were able to learn about how preparations for the Nauryz holiday are going on, as well as what dishes are traditionally prepared for the festive table.
The students, in turn, have prepared a video, which is a series of short congratulations on the upcoming Nauryz holiday, expressed by students in different languages. Students of various nationalities speaking several languages in the frame emphasize the diversity of cultures and nationalities celebrating this important holiday.It is also a symbol of tolerance and respect that Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is trying to invest in its graduates!
