KazNU and Baku State University will jointly train specialists

Within the framework of the working trip to Azerbaijan, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev. The parties discussed issues of cooperation on the introduction of a two-diploma educational program and academic mobility.

Welcoming Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Elchin Safaralioglu expressed his gratitude for his visit to the University. In his speech, he spoke in detail about the activities of Baku State University.

"Baku State University is one of the leading universities in Azerbaijan. The educational institution started its work in 1919. Currently, more than 22 thousand students are studying at the university. There are about 1000 students from abroad. Our higher education institution implements educational programs of technical, scientific, economic and humanitarian directions. We have every opportunity to develop and strengthen partnerships with KazNU", - said Elchin Babayev.

During the conversation Zhanseit Tuimebaev informed the honorary rector about the achievements, plans and directions of development of KazNU. The Rector also noted that the partnership between the two universities contributes to the development of scientific direction and exchange of experience between teachers and students.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to implement a two-diploma educational program on Master's degree.
