Actual problems of historical science in the context of archeology, ethnology and museology

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Shaleken Readings - II" on the topic "Actual problems of historical science in the context of archeology, ethnology and museology", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Faculty of History Wahit Shalekenov.

The plenary session was also attended by: statesman and public figure, advisor to the Director General of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas, Scientific Director of the Research Center for Applied Economics AERC Zhaksylyk Kulekeev, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of KazNU, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, academician Zulkhair Mansurov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after. Sh.Ualikhanov Ziyabek Kabuldinov and others.

The conference was attended by Russian historians, ethnologists, archaeologists, museologists, local historians, representatives of state and public organizations, experts, and media representatives.
