Strengthening the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University actively cooperates with foreign universities. Today, the rector of Al-Farabi Tuimebayev Kazakh National University Zh.K. met with representatives of Xi'an Jiao Tong University (China). 

A joint scientific center for the study of the rule of law was opened on the basis of KazNU.   This center will become the basis for the development of comparative law, for the expansion of scientific ties between legal scientists of the two countries.  Mutual cooperation will be based on agreements, according to which our students – future lawyers will have the opportunity to study at the expense of a grant for Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programs.

It should be noted that Xi'an Jiao Tong University is a state university that ranks 10th in the national ranking of China. The University was founded in 1896 and is part of the elite organization C9. It is ranked 262nd in the world ranking of the best universities in the world. Xi'an Jiao Tong University provides grant places for students from different countries and regions: Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan for Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programs.
