On December 27, 2023, in the city of Almaty, on the eve of the New Year 2024, a charity event was launched, initiated by the teaching staff, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Health Policy and Organization of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.      The purpose of the action is to support the City Palliative Care Center on the eve of the New Year.This year, as part of the campaign, the department team donated medicines, diapers and personal hygiene items to hospice patients in need of palliative care.        The hospice staff greeted our colleagues very warmly and expressed their gratitude. Hospice patients also expressed great gratitude. The Department of Health Policy and Organization was presented with letters of gratitude and commemorative photographs were taken.
