Honest Citizen Of a Fair Kazakhstan

On May 29, 2024, Almas Alimbay, a faculty member of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, was awarded first place in the republican patriotic competition “HONEST CITIZEN OF A FAIR KAZAKHSTAN.” This competition was organized by the National Innovative Research Center “Bilim-orkenieti” and the public foundation “Zhana Kazakhstan” in Astana. Almas received a first-degree diploma, a commemorative badge, and a special statuette in recognition of his achievement.
The primary objective of this event was to communicate to the public that the foundation of a just Kazakhstan rests on the loyalty of each citizen. Additionally, it aimed to underscore the significance of national identity and unity in ensuring the success of the country's independence. We extend our best wishes to Almas Alimbay, who has, over the years since independence, become a distinguished expert in his field and has significantly contributed to the nation's development.
