Kazakh schoolchildren take part in the Asian Physics Olympiad APhO

The Asian Physics Olympiad APhO is being held in the Malaysian city of Kampar from June 3 to 10. Representatives from more than 28 countries of the world participate in it.

The Asian Physics Olympiad is a unique annual intellectual competition in physics among schoolchildren from countries in the Asia-Pacific region. It has been held since 2000.

The leaders of the team that represents our country on the world stage are:

Samat Maksutov - PhD, Associate Professor at Suleyman Demirel University;

Nurdaulet Kalasov - PhD, senior lecturer at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Physics and Technology, Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics.
