KazNU - leader in the independent rating of demand for higher education institutions of RK

According to the results of the independent rating of demanded universities of RK 2024, Al-Farabi KazNU is recognized as the first and the best university, having scored the highest number of points among other national universities of the country. The results were calculated by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR), accredited by the Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence (IREG).

In 2024, the number of evaluated educational programs in the independent rating of the demand for universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan increased to 1650. The leader in the number of prizes was Al-Farabi Kazakh National University - the university also topped the top three leaders of the "Top 20 HEIs of RK", scoring 337,374 points.

The analysis of the IAAR rating results showed that compared to last year, there is a positive growth rate of 14% in the number of winners of international student Olympiads. The indicator for the indicator "Invited teacher from abroad", increased by 23%. Active participation in academic mobility programs is traditionally noted in Al-Farabi KazNU.

Publication activity of the teaching staff of universities increased by 9% compared to last year. KazNU demonstrated high indexability of scientific papers of Kazakhstani scientists.

Digital ranking of educational programs allows to form a rating of 1650 educational programs, and the general rating of universities of Kazakhstan. Participation in this national rating contributes to the growth of competitiveness of educational services and provides public awareness of the degree of compliance of the quality of education to market requirements, recognition of teachers and the effectiveness of research activities of HEIs.
