KazNU representative took part in the Third High-level International Conference on the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018-2028

On June 10-13, 2024, in Dushanbe, K.K. Duskayev, PhD., Associate Professor of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, took part in the Science and Technology Forum within the framework of the Third High-level International Conference on the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development” 2018-2028.

The Dushanbe Conference on the Water Decade for Action is the latest in a series of conferences held every two years by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with the United Nations to support the implementation of the goals of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028".

The Forum was organized by the USAID Regional Project on Water Resources and the Environment in cooperation with the International Institute of Water Management, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Forum aims to bring together representatives of academia, researchers and scientists from around the world to share information, best practices and research results to address water-related issues in Central Asia.
