Rector met with active youth in a free format

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev met with young students. Among them are active students, athletes, leaders of youth organizations, winners of various competitions.

At the meeting, the rector of KazNU emphasized that the future of our country is in the hands of the younger generation, noting that the university will always support young people, their ideas and proposals. Zhanseit Tuimebayev presented before the participants the ІІІ development plan of KazNU with 90-year history. "According to the plan in the campus will be built educational buildings, polyclinic, dormitories, technopark, scientific centers and sports facilities. All this is for the use for the benefit of students", - said the rector.

In his speech, the head of the university urged the youth to take an active part in community service and contribute to the modernization process of the university. "You are students of the leading university, so there are great expectations on you. To be competitive on the world stage, you need to study a lot and excel in science, education, sports. That is, the youth of our university should realize new projects at the global level and make scientific discoveries", - said the rector of the university.
At the meeting Zhanseit Tuimebaev gave a number of instructions to the heads of organizations to increase the activity of students. "Students of KazNU should always be active. Therefore, it is necessary to organize creative events more often in the higher education institution. Within the framework of the 90th anniversary of the university it is necessary to support student projects and hold large-scale events. International students should not be left aside. It is also necessary to increase sculptural compositions in the campus. Mass sports should be developed," said Janseit Canseituly.

The rector also got acquainted with the results of the Youth Organization Committee's work in the current year. At the meeting in a free format young people shared their proposals for the development of the university and exchanged opinions.
It should be noted that according to the data of the Youth Organization Committee, in 2022 there were more than 4 thousand active students in the educational institution, this year this figure reached 12 thousand.
