Advanced training at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

12.07.2024. As part of the advanced training at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, 35 teachers from the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyazov (Uzbekistan) visited the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, the Chinese-Kazakh laboratory, the Scientific Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Management. As part of the tour, the audience got acquainted with scientific achievements, projects and leading scientists of these centers. The head of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development gave a lecture on the provision of quality education at the university (SDG4). The students got acquainted with the structure of the educational process, innovations in this direction, the structures of our educational programs, the integration of MOOCs into the educational process were alsoexplained.

 Colleagues from the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed a desire to cooperate more closely within the framework of scientific and educational programs to strengthen partnerships. Also, colleagues from Uzbekistan were invited to the annual winter school of UNESCO departments of KazNU. al-Farabi, to participate and strengthen partnerships built on principles and values, a common vision and common goals in the field of education and science (SDG-17).
