A meeting with a delegation from NPU was held at the Faculty of Physics and Technology. KazNU was represented by the Director of the International Cooperation Department Omirzhanov O.Ye., Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology N.A. Beisen, Deputy Dean for Scientific Innovations and International Relations S.L. Peshaya, representatives of the KazNU Admissions Office, heads of Departments and developers of three double degree educational programs. NPU was represented by the Director of the Global Interaction Office Kong Jie, the Deputy Director of the Global Interaction Office Li Ziwei, and a representative of the International Interaction Office Zhai Wen (Emma). The meeting discussed issues related to the admissions Office, the number of applications submitted for three educational programs, and the final lists of applicants. A proposal was made to hold a camp for NPU students in November-December 2024 with the possibility of academic mobility.
The parties came to a decision on the creation and subsequent work on a roadmap for the development of relations between the NPU branch and KazNU. The roadmap includes holding an international forum in September 2024, student exchanges within the framework of a summer camp, as well as exchanges of teachers for advanced training courses, and scientific interaction within the framework of the Microsatellite project.
