Visit to Akdeniz University

Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Beysen N.A. visited Ismail Boztosun, Professor of Akdeniz University, Head of the Department of Nuclear Physics, at Akdeniz University, Dumlupinar Boulevard 07070 Konyaalti Campus, Antalya, Turkey.

During the visit to establish academic and scientific ties, Beysen N.A. was on the campus of Akdeniz University, laboratories of the Faculty of Space Science and Technology, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics, Faculty of Biology and Faculty of Physics.

Together with the Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Prof. Mustafa Alkan and Head of the Department of Nuclear Physics Ismail Boztosun, scientific seminars and workshops were held with professors of the Faculty of Physics as a part of the exchange of scientific and academic experience.

During the round table with the coordinators and developers of educational programs of the Faculty of Physics and the Dean  Professor Mustafa Alkan, the possibilities of academic mobility and scientific internships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as educators of KazNU were discussed.

During the visit, the possibility of conducting joint scientific research in the field of nuclear physics and theoretical physics with the scientific group of Professor Ismail Botosun and the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Physics of Akdeniz University and the Faculty of Physics and Technology of KazNU were discussed.
