Beyond the Numbers: A Celebration of Life
August 22 marks the 70th anniversary of the birth of the famous Kazakh mathematician, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Simon Serovajsky.
All professional scientific and pedagogical activity of S. Serovajsky is connected with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Simon Serovajsky is the author of 435 works, a participant in about 200 forums, 14 dissertations were defended under his scientific supervision.
Simon Serovajsky is an experienced mountain climber and an expert on the Tien Shan Mountains. Being a multifaceted creative person, S. Serovajsky composes poems and songs, writes prose, turns to the creation of dramatic works, is fond of inventing scripts for films and performances.
An open and responsive person, Professor S. Serovajsky treats his university colleagues with sincere respect, and his students – undergraduates, masters, and doctoral students – are attentive and caring.
