SDG 4. Quality education; SDG 17. Partnerships for sustainable development

On September 19, 2024, a seminar on "Information and Communication Sciences" was held at the branch of the North-West Polytechnic University (NPU) in Kazakhstan. The event brought together representatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Huawei, and teaching staff of Department of Electronics and Astrophysics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and NPU.

During the seminar, interesting reports were presented, including the topic "Global Trends in 5G Development" from representatives of Huawei, as well as a discussion of ITU activities. Experts shared their research on localization systems, modulation classification, and the impact of radio frequency (RF) devices on human health.

The seminar ended with a closing ceremony, where participants discussed the results and opportunities for future cooperation.
