September 26, 2024 at the department of general and applied psychology of the faculty of philosophy and political science Al-Farabi KazNU in the framework of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of Kazakhstan (SDG 4 – Quality education, SDG 17 - Partnership for sustainable development) held a scientific and methodological seminar on: «Methodological foundations of cyber technologies, models of the Lambert-Obozov-Beloly cybernometer in socio-psychological studies and interaction practice» for undergraduates, doctoral students, teachers of the department and faculty. The main speakers of the event were: Beloly Vasily Savvovich – graduate of the faculty of psychology LSU (1991. general psychology), independent researcher, psychologist, volunteer, cyber-technology trainer (Finland, Helsinki) and Beloly Nadezhda Alexandrovna – independent researcher, art-trainer, volunteer (Finland, Helsinki).
The scientific and methodological seminar covered topics such as: methodological basis of use of cybernometer, history of development of this instrument from cybernometer Roger Lambert to 16th version cybernometer Beloly, scope of application of the instrument in different types of institutions. Professor Kabakova M.P. has summarized the extensive experience of conducting cyber-training in the cultural environment of Kazakhstan: variations of perception of the device in different universities of Almaty, cooperation of people of various professions and quality of relations between participants.
The participants of the scientific seminar were invited to test both modes of operation of the cybernometer: "maze" for diagnosis of psychomotor cooperation and "matrix" for measurement of cognitive-perceptive cooperation. The possibility of cooperation between the Department of General and Applied Psychology at Al-Farabi KazNU and Finnish researchers was discussed. It was also noted that for the first time in Kazakhstan, PhD students Musa K.M. and Master’s degree student Manarbekova Z.K. are conducting their research using this equipment under the guidance of professor Kabakova M.P.
The materials offered at the seminar were well received by participants of the event: they were involved in the work, put forward suggestions on the use of cybernometers in the practice of Kazakh researchers, evaluated the prospects of hardware methods for command education. At the end of the seminar, the team members reported that working with a cybernometer improved their social interaction skills with colleagues and unfamiliar people, which was seen as proof of the effectiveness of the instrument.
