Alongside the traditional international scientific conference of students and young scholars, “The World of Farabi,” the competition of innovative projects of student business incubators also continued. Approximately 60 projects were submitted to the competition, which was organized with the aim of selecting the best student innovative business ideas and supporting their further development — from refining the idea to bringing it to commercialization.

Among them, 12 projects were submitted by the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. According to the competition requirements, the submitted projects had to meet the following criteria: relevance to one of the priority areas of science and technology development in the Republic of Kazakhstan, clarity of the project idea, its relevance, novelty, and practical significance. Out of the 12 projects submitted from the faculty, 9 were supervised by the lecturer of the Department of Mechanics, Berik Meiramuly. Bachelor’s and doctoral students took part in the project work. The projects covered the following topics:

• A service robot named “Konildi” that can be used in various fields.

• ISEE (a mobile application for retail stores).
