The Department of Middle East and South Asia held an open lesson within the framework of the SDG "Quality Education"
On October 2, 2024, as part of the SDG project "Quality Education", the teacher of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia Mukash A.Y. held an open lesson on the topic "Special factors influencing the state and political structure of countries" for 3rd-year students of the specialty "Oriental Studies". During the lesson, such issues as the influence of environmental factors, tourism, Internet trends and migration on the state and political system of Arab countries were considered. Particular attention was paid to how climate change can affect the domestic and foreign policies of the states of the region. The teacher gave examples from modern history, which allowed the students to better understand the current processes in the Arab world. During the discussion, the participants actively exchanged opinions and gave examples from their own experience and observations. The students noted the influence of social networks as a key factor in the formation of modern politics. The discussion brought up a keen interest, and the participants expressed a desire to deepen their knowledge on this topic in the future. Following the lesson, the students made important conclusions and identified new directions for independent research.
