On October 24, 2024, as part of the celebration of the 90th anniversary of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Department of Pre-University Training organized a festive event called "Welcome to the Homeland" dedicated to Republic Day.
The main objective of the event was to provide students with information about the Republic of Kazakhstan, to introduce them to the history of the Kazakh nation, and to instill love for their country, land, and traditions. Special guests attended this significant event and offered their warm wishes. During the event, Adilbekuly Omarali, Chairman of the Almaty City Branch of the World Association of Kazakhs and Expert at the Almaty City Front Office of the "Otandastar" Foundation, and Kurmet Kadylkazyuly, Chairman of the "Zhebeu" Republican Public Association, gave congratulatory speeches. They awarded one-time scholarships to 15 students and expressed their best wishes to the learners.
Zhanilai Dauey, an artisan and art critic, along with faculty members, organized an exhibition of traditional national crafts. The guests shared kind words with the students and expressed their gratitude to the teachers. Professor Akylbek Kashkynuly Isabekov, Ph.D. in Law, spoke highly of the Kazakh National University, the largest educational institution in Kazakhstan, and congratulated the teachers.
The event was held at a high level.
