Laureate of the KazNU Student Startup Competition has nominated his Startup for participation in the republican competition "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary"
A 1st-year master's student of the specialty "7M05113 Neuroscience", the Laureate of the 2024 KazNU Student Startup Competition, Kanat Eliubayev, has nominated his Startup for participation in the Republican Competition "Tauelsizdik Urpaktary" "("Generations of Independence") of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The name of the project is "Hexa.bilim - a mobile application using gamification technology based on the neuromarketing in education". The scientific supervisor of the project is senior lecturer of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience Bakhytzhan Kairat. Hexa.bilim is an innovative mobile application for studying biology, turning the learning process into an exciting game. The application uses neuromarketing and gamification principles to increase student motivation and engagement, as well as improve learning.
Target audience: middle and high school students interested in biology, especially high school graduates taking the UNT, as well as anyone who wants to improve their knowledge in this area in an interactive and engaging way.
Project mission: to make biology accessible, interesting and effective for everyone, using modern learning technologies and scientific methods.
Motto: "Learn while playing!"
There is always a need for innovative educational tools that increase student enthusiasm and activity. Neuromarketing and gamification have proven their effectiveness in other areas and have great potential for use in education.
Project goals: creation and refinement of educational materials in a mobile application.
Project objectives:
- Using gamification technologies to increase student interest and activity in studying biology.
- Improving knowledge acquisition and long-term retention of information using neuromarketing strategies.
- Developing a positive attitude towards many natural sciences. - Creation of high-quality, maximally accurate and reliable content modules adapted to mobile learning.
- Development of disciplinary strategies for neuromarketing.
- Improving gamification capabilities.
The application will be extremely useful for anyone interested in increasing their level of biological knowledge, improving their performance in biology, preparing as effectively as possible for the UNT, as well as for the biology Olympiad.
