An open group hour on the topic: “Clean water - drinking water is always relevant.”

October 30, 2024 Bisenbayeva Sanim, senior lecturer of the Department of geography, land management and cadastre, held an open group hour with students of the 3rd year of the educational program “Cadastre” on the topic “Clean Water - Drinking Water is always relevant”.

The purpose of the lesson is to familiarize students with the principles of SDG (SDG) 6 - Clean Water and sanitation, rational use of Water Resources and ensuring sanitation for all people.

During the group hour,comprehensive information about water, the benefits and properties of water, and the importance of clean water today were provided. They discussed the state of water in the world, the crisis and its contribution to the need for steps,as well as the importance of water sources in Kazakhstan,proposed ways to protect water and save it. Now the demand for drinking water is growing day by day. The students discussed the need for high quality of water, firstly, sanitary, and secondly, economical use of water. The need to use effective methods of field irrigation in agriculture was noted.
