The new museum building was constructed in 1985. The primary mission of the museum is the comprehensive collection, preservation, research, and promotion of historical and cultural monuments. Additionally, it ensures the material, technological, organizational, financial, and scientific-methodological support of the process of utilizing the nation's cultural heritage.
The visitors toured the Hall of Historical Ethnography, which displays ethnographic materials that reflect the Kazakh people's centuries-old lifestyle, worldview, and rich spiritual and material culture.
