Currently, there is a variety of platforms available for successful foreign language learning. Software, various mobile applications, and many other opportunities are accessible thanks to technological advancements.
On October 29, 2024, as part of SDG 4, a seminar titled «Platforms for Effective Language Learning: Google Forms and Wordwall»was held at the Department of Language and General Education for Foreign Students at the Pre-University Education Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The goal of the seminar was to familiarize participants with modern digital tools that enhance the effectiveness of foreign language learning. The objectives included demonstrating the functionalities of Google Forms for creating interactive surveys and tests, as well as using Wordwall for developing engaging game-like exercises. Participants gained practical skills in using these platforms, discussed best practices for their application in the educational process, and exchanged experiences on integrating technology into teaching, ultimately aiming to improve the quality of instruction and student motivation.
