In 1992 at the congress of representatives of traditional religions in Kazakhstan, October 18 was declared the Day of Spiritual Harmony. In honor of this holiday and in order to implement the 17th goal of SDG “Partnership for Sustainable Development” a festive concert was held in the Kazakh National Orchestra of Folk Instruments named after Kurmangazy, organized by the Department of Religious Affairs of Almaty. The event was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Borbasova K.M., senior lecturers Mukan N. and Kaupenbaeva S.M., as well as students, masters and doctoral students of the department. At the end of the event participants exchanged views on the role and significance of traditional religions in the modern world
