As part of the implementation of SDG No. 16 "Peace, Justice and Effective Institutions", the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics successfully hosted a leadership lecture by Senior prosecutor of the Almaly district Prosecutor's Office, 2nd class lawyer Beyimbet Madiyar Kasymuly, organized by the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics.   In his lecture, the prosecutor raised important issues of prevention of offenses related to drug trafficking. Students received useful knowledge about the risks associated with the spread and use of drugs, information about preventive measures aimed at combating and preventing these offenses. The lecturer shared up-to-date data on the criminal situation in the region, explained the legal consequences and gave recommendations on avoiding involvement in drug offenses. Special attention was paid to new types of drugs, their spread among young people and threats to health and safety. The lecture participants were given examples of real cases to demonstrate the consequences of such offenses. At the end of the lecture, the participants had the opportunity to ask the prosecutor questions on the topic. The students expressed interest in participating in anti-drug programs and events initiated by the city Prosecutor's Office and aimed at crime prevention. The lecture was relevant and useful for students. The discussion of legal aspects and preventive measures helped students to realize the seriousness of the consequences of drug crimes and the importance of personal responsibility.
