Lecturer of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology underwent an internship at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV)

Senior lecturer of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology Zhanabaeva Zh.A. from 21 to 25 October underwent an internship at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).

The internship was organized within the framework of the programme BR21882122 ‘Sustainable development of natural-economic and socio-economic systems of the West Kazakhstan region in the context of green growth: complex analysis, concept, forecast assessments and scenarios’. SDG-6, SDG-13 and SDG-14.

The internship allowed to study UPV's successful experience in remote sensing for solving problems in the field of water engineering, as well as to gain practical knowledge on advanced methods of water resources research and management. The main objective was to familiarize with new methodologies, technologies and tools used by UPV scientists to analyze and assess water resources and aquatic ecosystems.
