By the 16th Sustainable Development Goal (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) and in honor of World Philosophy Day, on November 15, postdoctoral researcher and senior research fellow of the Department of Philosophy, Nurlan Akimbaiuly Muminov, delivered a lecture titled "Kazakhstan's National Identity and Ontological Security: The Role of History Textbooks in Shaping the National Biography."
During the lecture, the speaker connected the ontology of the evolution of historical epochs linked to the Kazakh worldview with issues of national security. Following the lecture, a discussion took place. Faculty members, including Berik Muratuly, Kanat Toktarbekuly, Kazbek Nurseituly, Eldos Nurlanuly, and others, shared their views. Doctoral students and undergraduates discussed the significance of history in contemporary society.
