The event was attended by 4th year students of the Faculty of Philosophy and political science in the specialty "pedagogy and psychology" and 2nd year students of the Faculty of philology in the specialty "Foreign Language: two foreign languages".
The purpose of the Round Table was to develop a culture of reading among young people and encourage them to read classic works of art of Kazakh and world literature, students exchanged views and shared their thoughts on the works of art they love.
The culture of reading is one of the ways to increase the spiritual wealth of a person, create critical thoughts and new ideas, and form life views. In modern times of digitalization, student youth often like to read e-books. It was noted that students who shared their opinions about the differences, advantages and disadvantages of reading from the original and reading e-books have a high interest in reading. During the analysis of The shown video materials, students shared their thoughts on various aspects of life, and the thematic discussion grew into friendly relations.Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences B. A. Arinova noted that reading literacy and working with text as one of the most important problems in the modern education system for students is the result of high-quality education of students. Senior lecturer M. Murzagulova thanked the students of both faculties and at the end of the evening gave various advice on reading books.
